På söndag 8 mars är det Internationella kvinnodagen. Svenska Burmakommittén firar med att släppa en podcast om feminism i Burma med forskaren Jenny Hedström. Jenny har följt utvecklingen i Burma i över 15 år. Hennes forskning har ofta fokuserat på genus och konflikt. Hon har också flera års erfarenhet av att arbeta med och forska om den exilbaserade kvinnorörelsen i Thailand.
I avsnittet pratar vi bland annat om hur ordet feminism används i Burma, hur den burmesiska kvinnorättsrörelsen ser ut och vilka frågor som ingår i den feministiska debatten i Burma.
